Alison Doody

Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is a famous Irish model and actress. Her first feature film appearance was a tiny part in her debut role in the Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Later she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan donavan was featured in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987. Charlotte was in Taffin (in 1998) and Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody became a model after she was approached by an aspiring photographer. The career she pursued has evolved into commercial modelling. Doody strove to avoid the glamour of nude roles that was a rule she applied in her acting. In 1985, after being noticed by the casting directors of a James Bond new film, Doody took a small part in Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody's name appeared within John Willis Screen World Vol. 12 of the most promising actors in 1986. 38. Only 18 years old at the time she acted in the character Doody was - and remains one of the smallest Bond girl who has appeared in a film. In the Jim Henson fantasy episode The Storyteller in 1988, Doody played Sapsorrow alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. In 1988, she played with Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. Her most recognizable performance to date was her role as Austrian Nazi sympathizer as well as archaeologist Dr. Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody has been in three films with James Bond actors. Doody starred alongside Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries, a British mini-series inspired by Hitler Diaries. She later moved to Hollywood. Doody was a co-star with Patrick Swayze in a 2004 film adaptation for television to King Solomon's Mines and also was a part of a short titled Benjamin's Struggle (2005) a pamphlet that discussed the Holocaust as well as in the British TV show Waking the Dead (in a two-part show named. in 2010 Doody shot a part of Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). Doody was later a guest on the medical drama of RTE The Clinic and was set to appear in a remake of the classic horror film The Asphyx but the project ended up being cancelled. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. The show also featured her in We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). In November of 2018, she was awarded by the Almeria tierra de cine award and was awarded a star in Almeria Walk of Fame.
