Iliza Shlesinger
Iliza Vie Schlesinger, born February 22, 1983 is an American actress, comedian and executive producer. She was the winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing and went to host the dating show syndicated by TBS Excused and the TBS game show Separation Anxiety.
Shlesinger hosted Truth and Iliza, a late-night talk show on Freeform in 2017. There are six Netflix comedy specials. Netflix has launched her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger sketch Show in April of 2020.
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born to a Jewish family from New York City. Her birthplace was in the city of New York to an ethnically Jewish family. The family relocated to Dallas when she was young. She was a student at Addison's private Greenhill School, Texas where she learned Spanish and participated in the school's improvisation club.
Shlesinger performed on ComedySportz Dallas. She also went to the University of Kansas her freshman year. She was also part of the cast in Semester at Sea. She then transferred to Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts where she earned a degree in film, honed her editing and writing skills and became a member of one of the campus' comedy sketch groups, Jimmy's Traveling All Stars.

Following her graduation from college Shlesinger relocated to Los Angeles to pursue stand-up comedy. She was among the most well-known members of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
